The easiest way to clean up our confetti

The easiest way to clean up our confetti

10/07, 2025

Confetti from Rock in my Box is environmentally friendly and breaks down naturally; it is designed for outdoor use.

Although the confetti is biodegradable, it takes a number of days (under the right conditions) for it to decompose, and there can certainly be several reasons why one might want to clean up the confetti faster than that. Therefore, we are sharing our best tips here!

- Let the wind do the work

If possible, please let the confetti remain on the ground for as long as possible. Since the confetti is lightweight, the wind easily catches it. Many testify that the principle is completely gone by the next day (but of course it depends on weather conditions).

- Disperse the confetti with a rake

Most of the time, the confetti distributes itself well when thrown. But if too much confetti ends up in one spot, it takes longer for it to break down or dissolve. Use a rake to spread the confetti as thinly as possible.

- Sweep off decks and stones

Confetti that lands directly on grass provides the best conditions. The aim is for the breakdown to happen as quickly as possible. Sweep off the confetti from decks, stones, and asphalt. - Let rain and dew do the work If it rains or there is a clear night with a chance of humidity and dew, it creates perfect conditions for nature to do the job for you.

- Dissolve with water

Since our confetti is made from starch and water, it is also water-soluble. Water it with a watering can, but preferably with a hose that has as high pressure as possible. - Confetti on gravel paths Confetti on gravel paths can be a bit tricky, but start by spreading it thinly with a rake. Then water it with a high-pressure hose.
